Heart and soul in the kitchen - food at its best :-) Here I was (strangers) welcome, I was able to observe and experience the bond of the regulars in a beautiful and sophisticated way - whether a puzzling evening or a moderate discussion: an open heart culture shapes the events here. Rarely today. And so valuable. P.S .: The food was really great!

It took me a long time to have my first drink. Hence cutbacks in service. Food was okay.

Great service, well renovated and decorated. Boss serves himself. Food tasted very good, the menu is not too extensive. There was a star deduction because my schnitzel was a bit dry, but I'll come back and check again. I'm sure the 5th star will come.

No, this inn does not offer star cuisine. But has an outstanding friendly host (the individual dishes on customer request colorfully combined), competent staff and interesting rooms. I have always felt comfortable here and happy to come by every time I visit Unna. I find it most beautiful in late autumn, when there is a piece of goose on the plate for kale. Home-style cooking in the best sense.

I am only here once a year, mostly on May 1st, for pork knuckle, and I am always happy with the wonderful hours I can spend here with good friends. The knuckle is always good, only the rind could be a little more crispy.
